WEEK 14 (2)

TITLE OF ACTIVITY : Industry day's

OBJECTIVE : Presentation of the project and tested by the assessor.

METHODS :
- Prepared and completed all equipment.
- Last observed on the project and take print posters.

RESULT :
- Final plan is to review the project and prepare to be judged by lecturers evaluator.

ANALYSIS :
- At first we examine the input and output readings to the project, there is no problem. Then we examine the perspectives and we found the crack. We repair cracks using liquid glue. Once finished, we examine the contents of the grammar in the poster. Once everything is finished we make final preparations to bring the materials necessary for the Industry's day.

CONCLUSION :
- Final inspection is important because everything will be evaluated during the presentation of the project. Thorough preparation should also be available during the session with the assessor questionnaires.
During the Industry Day's.

WEEK 14 (1)

TITLE OF ACTIVITY : Preparing for Industry day poster project.

OBJECTIVE : To promote the project to the guests who came to the booth.

METHODS :
- Shaping the poster project and enter information about our projects.
- Using specific software and A1 sized paper.

RESULTS :
- In the process of completing.

ANALYSIS :
- Posters that we do are some of the must-have during the Industry Day.

CONCLUSION :
- Good poster is beautiful and has the information about the project.

WEEK 13

TITLE OF ACTIVITY : Prepare and make touch-up the projects.

OBJECTIVE : To make the last steps before meeting with counsel for the explanation.

METHODS :
- Decorating a bit on the project.
- Checking the circuit assembly.
- remove materials that are no longer needed.

RESULT :
- Everything was going well.

ANALYSIS :
- This is the final touch. So we must be prepared in advance to check what should be.

CONCLUSION :
- Circuit ultimately we choose not pose a problem as the previous circuit.

WEEK 12

TITLE OF PROJECT : Buying additional tools to make projects and installations.

OBJECTIVES : For the final step of making the installation and show the adviser.

METHODS :
- We go to Jalan Pasar Pudu to get the tools needed. In planning we want to buy some tools such as cooling fans, motors and also buy PCB stand.

RESULT :
Once we get what is planned, we continue to make the installation as to save time.

ANALYSIS :
material we buy is to complement the output and while fans are additive to cool certain components.

CONCLUSION :
- The materials we need are very important.
- We need to quickly set it up as advisers would like to see the work of the project.

WEEK 11

TITLE OF PROJECT : Soldering the component on PCB.

OBJECTIVES : Soldering is the process of soldering components to circuit attached to the PCB.

METHODS :
- The equipment required is solder, solder paste, soldering iron & stand.
- Eye soldering iron should be cleaned before use.
- Enter the component on the right.
- Heat up the soldering iron and solder to the component.
- Cut away excess components using cutter.

RESULT :
- All materials can be prepared and caused the job step can be made smoothly.

ANALYSIS :
- After the steps before this work is completed, the next process was done by performing a soldering components. Replacement parts must be correct before soldering to unforeseen happens.

CONCLUSION :
- Making soldering should be careful because it can cause burns on yourself and also can damage components if negligent.
- It should be efficient to do so soldering is not a problem.

WEEK 10

TITLE OF ACTIVITY : Iron on PCB.

OBJECTIVE : To produce the PCB circuit and allow the next step to be done.

METHODS :
- Prepare : Clothes iron, metal polish solvent and photocopy or software image of circuit image.
- Photocopy the circuit image onto the non-glossy side of a sheet of Iron-On-PCB. the print out must be mirror of the original image.
-Clean copper boards with metal polish solvent
-Place the Sheet face down on the copper clad material and iron it with an iron set halfway between two and three. continue until the copper is hot and the image has gone dark all over.
After cooling the film is peeled away to leave the image. Etching is by the normal method with ferric chloride or ammonium persulfate in a tray or bubble etch tank. And after etching and drying, remove the resist with thinner solvent. the blue resist is removed away leaving the copper circuit tracks.

RESULT :

- Do need to follow the rules because it may just not be as missed a method prescribed. With the instructions provided, then it can be done well.

Analysis :
-Lots to do during the process did work Iron-On-PCB. After obtaining the appropriate schematic concept of the project , list types of components to be used . Make sure the components purchased to work properly , especially components that are expensive, difficult or major components found in the circuit . Then need to use computer software such as Proteus , Eagle , PCB Wizard and so on. This process involves the use of chemicals. need to comply with security measures , rules of use and disposal of chemicals. Etching process is done to remove the copper layer ( copper layer) that is not required on the PCB using liquid etchant . Chemical ferric chloride ( FeCl3) is used to produce a highly corrosive liquid etchant . be careful when handling these chemicals . The duration of this process depends on the solution concentration , solution temperature and the size of the PCB is produced. Once everything is finished , the PCB need to rinse.

CONCLUSION :
- Advantages of this technique to produce large quantities of PCBs for Transparency requires only one mold.
- Must comply with all instructions, manuals and process work carefully to avoid mistakes and loss of PCB damaged or poor quality.

WEEK 9

TITLE OF ACTIVITY : Making the circuit in PCB software.

OBJECTIVE : To make the move early work before soldering and Iron-on-paper.

METHODS :
- We use Eagle Software for drawing circuit.
- We talked with other colleagues to improve the situation and appropriate to the component.

RESULT :
- From the discussions that we have obtained in making the circuit is very good.

ANALYSIS :
- Too much can we get the software and the software we chose Eagle because it can we understand.

CONCLUSION :
- Computer software can save time and produce PCB production higher quality compared to manual methods.
- We need to get the software and learn the application as each different software methods of use and features.
